Hey guys,  here are some quick 'sketchy' studies. Tried to draw in a more 'messy' way to get my head free and learn importent steps I could use while drawing from imagination. So I was not thinking about how it would look like at the end:) It helped me a lot and I had huge fun!

I had the idea to use old photos of me and my family as studies and paint them! So I've  watched through our photo boxes and found a few nice pictures ! These are quick studies drawn with just one brush on only one layer except the first one (used 2 layers:D). I definitively want to do more of those!

By the way, I'm the little girl with the fancy yellow 'pantsuit'! On the last photo I wore an awesome Harry Potter sweatshirt! I was trendy as hell!:D

First of all I wish you guys a happy new year:)!!

Today I've done these landscape studies (I found the pictures on the internet). I gave myself only 30 min for each picture. To be honest, it was extremely hard at the beginning for me but at the end it was so much fun! Most of the studies are drawn on one layer and  painted with one brush. I didn't want to be overwhelmed by all the fancy brushes I could use!

So, here's the result:

I've also painted a bit with pencil but I'm absolutely not happy with the result, but well:) Guess it was not my day but that might happen! I also noticed that I prefer to paint women and absolutely neglected the male anatomy! So that's the next thing to do: painting more men!

(The pictures show only quick studies expect the girl with the long dreads. That's a little character design thingy:D)
